Hi All,
I hope the 24-25 cricket season has been a good one for your club. As we approach the end of it please note the following:
Match results must be uploaded to PlayHQ immediately after the last round on Saturday (midday Sunday at the latest), so preparations for finals can begin. Full scorecards can follow, but confirmed results are vital.
As usual, teams that do not qualify for the finals are obliged to provide neutral umpires for semi-finals (they will be paid). Please ensure all teams know that now.
PlayHQ is unreliable and results, ladders and scores can be wrong. The PDCA Competitions Committee does a great deal of work in checking PlayHQ (over 2000 games individually audited) - but we cannot guarantee picking up every error. Each team should check that match results (draw/ first inning or outright) is correct and that the ladder correctly shows the points earned. Once semi final draws are prepared by Monday/Tuesday, it is too late to discover errors.
Any missing match scores on PlayHQ mean the team is graded 3 higher next season - please check and fix before Saturday.
Multiple last round matches have been moved due to Hills Shire Council closing grounds - please check venues and re-check on Friday.
